Three certification tracks — accountant, implementer, developer — issued by thexsys to named people. Certification is live today; the course catalogue and the online exams are still being built, and this page says which is which.
What exists today, and what does not
Live now
- Certificates issued by thexsys staff to a named person, on one of three tracks, at one of two levels.
- A certificate number in the form TXC-<year>-<six characters>, visible to the partner in the partner portal.
- Active certificates count towards the partner tier: 1 person for Silver, 3 for Gold, 5 for Platinum.
- An active accountant certificate puts the “thexsys Certified” badge on the partner’s entry in the public directory.
Not built yet
- A self-serve course catalogue with lessons in Arabic and English.
- Online exams, enrolment and payment.
- A public lookup that verifies a certificate number.
- Enrolment for an individual outside a partner organisation.
The academy is a planned item on the platform roadmap, not a shipped product. Until it ships we publish no exam dates, no course prices and no student numbers, because there are none.
Three certification tracks
One track per job. Each is issued at two levels: Certified, then Advanced.
Accountant
- What it proves
- That the holder can run a company’s books inside thexsys: the chart of accounts and journals, tax rates and the VAT return, the period close, e-invoicing, bank reconciliation and the statements that come out of them.
- Who it is for
- Accountants, accounting firms and anyone who keeps books for clients. This is the track behind the “thexsys Certified” badge in the public directory.

Implementer
- What it proves
- That the holder can take a company live: choose the industry model, set up the companies, roles and permissions, migrate the data, configure with Studio and train the team.
- Who it is for
- Implementation and reseller partners, and project leads rolling thexsys out inside their own group.

Developer
- What it proves
- That the holder can build on the platform: the REST API and its envelope, signed and retried webhooks, and a thexsys app — manifest, permissions, document types, Arabic and English — that passes the conformance kit.

How certification works today
There is no exam portal yet. Assessment runs through thexsys staff and the partner portal.

Join as a partner
Certification is issued through the partner programme: an accounting firm, an implementation house or a software company applies, signs the agreement and is activated.

Name your people
The partner adds its team as partner users in the portal. A certificate is always issued to a named person, never to a company in the abstract.

thexsys assesses and issues
Platform staff assess the person against the track and issue the certificate at Certified or Advanced level, with a unique number and, where a renewal applies, an expiry date.

The certificate counts
Active certificates show in the partner portal, count towards the tier thresholds, and — on the accountant track — place the Certified badge on the partner in the public directory, where certified firms are listed first.
A certificate can carry an expiry and can be revoked. From the moment it expires or is revoked it stops counting towards the tier and the badge; a certificate issued without an expiry stays active until it is revoked.

Course catalogue and exams
When it opens, the academy will carry self-paced lessons for each track in Arabic and English, a practice workspace to work in, an online exam, and a public way to verify a certificate number. None of that is open yet and there is no waiting list to add your name to. The one thing you can do today is join the partner programme — that is the door certification runs through.

Can I enrol as an individual today?
No. Certificates are issued to named people at a partner organisation, so today it runs through the partner your employer holds — or through joining the programme yourself. Individual enrolment belongs to the course catalogue, which is not open.
What does a certificate cost?
Nothing is published, because no exam fee exists yet. Certificates are issued as part of the partner programme. Prices will be published when exams open, not before.
Does a certificate expire?
It can. A certificate may be issued with an expiry date, and it may be revoked; either way it stops counting towards the partner tier and the directory badge from that moment. One issued without an expiry stays active until it is revoked.
How can someone verify a certificate?
Every certificate carries a number in the form TXC-<year>-<six characters>, and the partner sees all of its certificates in the partner portal. The public directory shows which partners hold at least one active accountant certificate. A public lookup by certificate number is not built yet.
I run an accounting firm — which track?
The accountant track, with the managed-service capability in the partner programme. Once one of your people holds an active accountant certificate, your firm carries the Certified badge and appears on Find an accountant.
Which language are the tracks in?
Arabic and English equally, like the rest of thexsys. The documentation each track reads from already exists in both.
